ABOUT

Established as a corporate entity in 2006, PCS Metal Sales brings together extensive foundry experience dating back to 1996. We are a knowledge-based, financially strong, and innovative casting specialist operating as an accredited Level 2 Broad-Based Black Empowered Company.

We supply castings in both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals, ranging from Sand Castings to Forgings and Die Castings. We are able to handle a mass range from less than 1 kg to 10 000 kg's. We have vast foundry experience and will be able to assist with queries in the Technical and Metallurgical fields.

Due to the compact nature of our business, we are able to offer efficient and personal attention with delivery times and quality criteria. All castings are manufactured to international standards.

We currently specialize in High Chrome and Manganese Steel Castings for the Smelter and Mining industry and export components to Mozambique, Zambia, Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

On-site Pattern Shop & Logistics

Expert Pattern Design: Our fully equipped on-site pattern shop features two qualified patternmakers and assistants who manufacture and maintain precise patterns from drawings, sketches, or physical customer samples.
Secure Transit Crating: Our woodworking division constructs rugged, steel-strapped plywood packaging crates to fully protect cast goods during long-distance road transport and ocean freight transit.

Advanced Heat Treatment

Material Specification Controls: We utilize electric heat treatment ovens to deliver precise material properties required by demanding operating environments.
Certified Processes: Available options include Annealing, Normalizing, Water Quenching, Tempering, and Stress relieving. Formal heat treatment certificates complete with process graphs are supplied on request.

Full Traceability: Every individual heat is meticulously analyzed with specification adjustments, and all components are traceable via unique identification numbers and matching Material Certificates.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Full access to advanced testing protocols including Mechanical testing, MPI testing, Dye-penetrant testing, and Ultrasonic testing.
Dimensional Accuracy: Final inspection and detailed dimensional reports are systematically verified and issued on request.
